But most of the studies have assessed this concept only with respect to nation-state era and exactly before globalization process. This study tries to examine national identity in globalization process, although it considers past theories and studies. While globalization takes many dimensions, so this study investigates the relationship between life style as a modern phenomenon with respect to globalization and national identity. In data collection, the survey method and self reported questionnaire, which included contextual, behavioral, and attitude questions, was used. Statistical population was all secondary students in Shiraz city. Required data was gathered by stratified random sampling among 435 high school students. The results showed that religious styles and body identity variables explained nineteen percent of the variations of national identity.
