Culture, Power and Meaning: Educational System of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract
The main power has effects on educational system, both an overt and a covert way, so, governments try to benefit from the educational system to promote their values and thereby to reproduce their hegemony.
So, the main question of this article is the main power in the Islamic Republic of Iran is located in what areas, and what is the role of high education in legitimizing to the power in the Islamic Republic?
Also, the main hypothesis is: "the structures of power in the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the concept of culture that is present in all social and political structures. This type of culture is linked with the special type of education.
In this paper, the authors, first, study the relationship between culture (as the main field of power structure in the Islamic Republic), and the educational system, then, the meaning of cultural discourse of Islamic Republic that is trying to consolidate it in the educational system has been analyzed.
