Astudy of Nation Identity-Faramation in Iranian Guidance School Textbooks

Abstract
This study with the help of content analysis investigates the case of national identity for nation in guidance school text books. Using content analysis, we studied all the text books in the curriculum year of 1386-87 including 488 lessons, 3895 pages were analysed from the approach of three categories.
The ategaries are as fallaws: The values of National of Natunal Identity, religiaus values and western cultur values which were individually investigated on the basis of the defined criteria researches.
To obtain and to compare the significant levels of each category, its used Shonon Antrophy method which is a new method of interpreting the messages and processing the data of a problem in content analysis.
According to the findings, not enough attention was paid to the above mentioned categories in the lessons and pages of these textbooks, categories of religions 299 lessons and 931 pages, categories of history and national identity 96 lessons and 161 pages and categories of west culture Values 21 lessons and 46 pages.
