Abstract
The developments of recent decades in international relations, has emphasized the role and place of culture in relations among states and among human societies. In this period, states in place of utilization of hardware and violent tools, try to make use of cultural methods for acquisition of their interests in regional and international arenas. Thus, today by increasing the importance of culture and geoculture concepts, we observe the new forms of competition between states for spreading their zones of cultural influence. Considering Iran’s great cultural and civilizational history, this country could well use its position for spreading its cultural zone of influence especially in Indian subcontinent; because Iran’s cultural geography is more vast than its geographical and formal borders.
