The Persian Gulf and distortions of Arab fanatics

"Persian Gulf" or "Fars Sea" is one of the most famous names in history books and the Arabic manuscripts that it is based around the world. Unfortunately, this name was distorted in the 1960s, while in all Arabic and non Arabic texts and maps which are available before 1960, has seen Persian Gulf. Then, the Arab states with different motivations attempt to change this name. The Arabic governments during the past half century had tried to distorting the name of Persian Gulf in public opinion of the world. However, historical records and documentation is so strong and Arab ethnicism to change the name were not successful and the public opinion of the world has been accepted the name of Persian Gulf.
This paper examine the works of several Arab authors, who proposed to change the name of Persian Gulf and pay to the distortions that they expressed to their views, then, the article answer to every distortions.
