Abstract
The social well-being is the main part of social welfare and the culture of citizenship is important variable that effects on social well-being. The aim of the present study is exploring of relationship between social well-being and culture of citizenship in women and men.
Using the survey method, a sample of 300 was selected from three zones (1, 8 and 16) in Tehran. Samples selected through Quota random sampling among 22 zones in Tehran. The instrument that employed in this research was Keyes (2004) social well-being inventory. Three indices of social belonging, norms and values were used in order to measure culture of citizenship.
The finding showed that, there was significant relationship between culture of citizenship and social well-being. The finding of multiple regression showed that social belonging, values of culture of citizenship and zone of residence, explained 0/14 percent of variance of social well-being.
