The Function of Education in Institutionalzing Students’ National Identity from the Perspective of School Personnel (Emphasizing on Public High Schools in Tehran)

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to assessing the Cultural, Historical and Social dimensions of National identity. The statistical Society is whole of 25149 teachers, headmasters and deputies of Tehran premier high schools. The statistical Simple is 378 by Cochran Formula. For the sampling, the city was devised to the 5 geographical zones in which, the sampling wad done by the clustered method. Then, 400 questionnaire was distributed.
The tool of research was 2 researcher made questionnaire. The premier wad made for stablishing the dimensions, components, and indicators of National identity and was answered by30 persons of elites.
The 2em was made by theoretical framework that was extracted from literature. This tool have 31 question which assesse cultural, historical and social dimensions.
 After making sure of content reliability, and validity by Cronbach alpha (0.84), the questions of research was analyzed by t test, factor analysis, network analysis and SPSS and super decision application. The factor analysis shows the high function of education system on the National identity. The results shows2 factors in 3 dimensions of research. Also "Cultural" is on the top and "Social" and Historical dimensions are on the last row of the prioritized list.
