Author
Abstract
The world we live in has not been formed by a single culture, but constituted by various cultures. With the spread of cultural pluralism over the past few decades, the issue of recongnition of cultural diversity and the impact of various cultures on the process of decision – making has become one of the significant issues in the contemporary political thought. The present article alludes to the grounds that have brought cultural pluralism to the fore, tries to shed light on different aspects of the problem and finally touches the typology of main theories in this regard while discussing the theory of Charles Tilly.
