Abstract
In this article the author explanates the relationship between social consensus, political culture and political legitimacy and bridges among these concepts.
Subsequent to representing some definitions of social consensus, he criticizes views of some theorists on this concept. Applying theoretical fromework, the concept of social consensus in Iran along different periods is explained.
