Today, the international recognition of territorial sovereignty inside the international border is witnessed as an organized principle of international politics form one hand; and due to the expansion of international ties and interstate dependencies, from the other hand, a decrease in the thought of territorial sovereignty of independent states is also quite evident.
International borders-meaningfully interpreted as "interstate borders" - which were significant in the regulation of human societies, especially in the domain of national security, are now increasingly crisis stricken. Exploring the traditional as well as modern related viewpoints, while using some key concepts such as international relations and political geography, the outhor analyzes the role of borders in the creation of domestic, regional and international integration as well as disintegration.
