Historiographers of Lurestan and the Issue of Identity

Abstract
The main focus of the present article is to study the way of formation, sources, and aspects of identity approaches of the historiographers of Lurstan up to the end of the Phalavi era. The findings of the present article indicate that due to the characteristics and various cultural ties between the Lurs and the Iranian culture, not only the ethnic-based thought have not drawn the attention of the researchers of Lurestan, but they have always showed a tendency towards centripetal and national ideas.
