Abstract
The main goal of the research is to identify and rank the effective factors on national identity (Islamic-Iranian) using the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The research method is of an inductive qualitative meta-analysis type covering the period from 1998 to 2025, and the analytic hierarchy method is employed through non-probability (purposive) sampling from 134 documents over seven phases following the Sandrooski and Barroso model, resulting in 103 research samples selected while observing the inclusion criteria (independent variable, validity and reliability of the research, qualitative and survey) and then, the identified factors were prioritized using the Analytic Hierarchy Process software (AHP). The statistical population of this section of research included 25 individuals consisting of researchers, scholars, experts and academic specialists, advisors, and faculty professors specialized in social sciences, political studies, psychology, economics, and culture from Mohaghegh Ardabili University, Chamran University of Ahvaz, University of Tabriz, and the University of Tehran. The results of the research indicated that cultural factors (importance coefficient=0.1083) including (promotion of altruism, justice and educational development, scientific socialization, religious affiliation, Islamic-Iranian lifestyle, moral education, cultural literacy, historical literacy, cultural affiliation, media literacy), social factors (importance coefficient=0.1051), including social capital (social cohesion, social participation, social belonging, social trust, social justice, reference model; socialization and supervision, social commitment), political factors (importance coefficient=0.1034), including political capital, political affiliation, political culture, political bias and Islamic higher governance, rule of law, political stability, political effectiveness, accountability, anti-corruption, civil liberties) have a higher importance and impact, while psychological factors (importance coefficient=0.1014) including (identity formation, social dignity, psychological peace and meeting psychological needs, psychological empathy, psychological capital) and economic factors (importance coefficient=0.1003) including (economic growth; enhancement of social welfare; resistant-local economy; economic justice; resolution of economic issues) have less priority and impact on Iranian-Islamic national identity according to the research results.
