The National Studies Quarterly, with nearly three decades of continuous scientific efforts and the publication of more than 100 consecutive issues of the quarterly in the field of national identity and solidarity, intends to dedicate at least two of its issues to the topic of "Description and Critical Evaluation of Ethnic Historiography." Therefore, with honor, interested parties, professors and respected researchers in related fields (history, social sciences, political sciences, etc.) are invited to submit their original research articles by the end of Shahrivar 1404 for scientific review and evaluation through the National Studies Quarterly system. No fee will be charged for publishing articles related to this topic in the quarterly.
The proposed topics are:
1- Review and criticism of ethnic historiography in different regions of Iran (Azeri, Kurdish, Arabic, Turkmen, Baluchi, etc.).
2- Trends and currents of ethnic historiography in Iran since 1978.
3- Methods of ethnic historiography.
4- Personalities and topics studied in ethnic historiography.
5- The impact of ideological motives and purposes (Marxism, nationalism, etc.) in the compilation of ethnic historiography.
6- Critical evaluation of ethnic historiography in cultural productions (novels, plays, and artistic works).
7- Foreign actors and ethnic historiography (motives, roles, and methods).
8- Distortion of Iranian history in textbooks or public textbooks of some neighboring countries.
9- Political and geopolitical contexts and consequences of the distortion of Iranian history.
10- Distortion of history and ethnic identity formation from the perspective of political science and geopolitics.
11- Examination of ethnic historiography and distortion of history from the perspective of foreign researchers.
12- Case study of distortion and narrative creation of historical events and treaties (Golestan, Turkmanchay, formation of the Democratic Sect in Azerbaijan and Mahabad, etc.).
13- Distortion of the names of Iranian geographical regions (names of places, cities, streets, etc.).
14- Distortion and appropriation of Iranian historical, literary and artistic figures and honors.
15- Criticism and review of the approaches and actions of foreign think tanks in the field of ethnic historiography in Iran.
16- Policy-making requirements and solutions in the subject of ethnic historiography.
Important points to note for respected professors and researchers
1- Articles must be compiled based on the writing style guide that is available on the website of the Quarterly Journal of National Studies.
2- The articles prepared must be innovative and original, and each one can add a new section to the literature on the subject.
3- Researchers can only participate in this program individually; Therefore, group articles are not a priority.
4- No fee will be charged for publishing articles compiled on the proposed topics.
5- Articles will be scientifically evaluated by the editorial board and reviewers. Efforts will be made to expedite the evaluation process.
6- The deadline for submitting articles will be 31/6/1404.
