The field of historiography is a proper context for Iranian to recognize their identity in different periods. Shamlu is the narrator of consolidation period of Iranian identity in the second half of the Safavids. The central question this article seeks to answer is how Iranian identity notions of Shamlu’s historiography thought represented? For this purpose, by using descriptive and analytical method, based on text analysis of Ghesas al Khaghani, identity elements which affected Shamlu’s mind in event report are evaluated. In the narrative of historical events of his time, influenced by the cultural context and the dominant discourse of writing his book; Shamlu represents and provides a meaningful narration of his historical report. The effective presence of cultural identity elements in the official text of Ghesas al Khaghani shows the dynamic aspects of Iranian culture. هدف این مقاله بررسی چگونگی بازنمایی انگاره‌های هویت ایرانی در اندیشه‌ی ولی‌قلی شاملو در نگارش کتاب قصص‌الخاقانی است. عرصه‌ی تاریخ‌نگاری محمل مناسبی برای شناختِ برداشت ایرانیان از هویت خود در دوره‌های مختلف است. شاملو روایت‌گر دوره‌ی تثبیت هویت ایرانیان در نیمه‌ی دوم صفویان است. مقاله به دنبال پاسخ‌گویی به این پرسش است که انگار‌ه‌های هویت ایرانی در اندیشه تاریخ‌نگاری شاملو چگونه بازنمایی شده‌اند؟ بدین منظور با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی مبتنی بر واکاوی متنِ قصص‌الخاقانی، عناصر هویتی که بر ذهنیتِ شاملو در گزارش رخدادها اثر گذاشته را مورد ارزیابی قرار می‌دهیم. شاملو در روایت رخدادهای تاریخی زمان خود متأثرِ از بافت ِفرهنگی و گفتمان غالب دوره‌ی نگارشِ کتابش، با رجوع به حافظه‌ی جمعی ایرانیان به بازنمایی و ارائه‌ی روایت معناداری ازگزارش تاریخی‌اش دست زده است. حضورِ پررنگ عناصر هویت فرهنگی در متنِ رسمی قصص الخاقانی، پویایی وجوه فرهنگی هویت ایرانی را نشان می‌دهد. https://www.rjnsq.ir/article_96440_2e1826a7a9aa30c63cba6dd2931a5f8b.pdf
