Hence two hypotheses have been studied: one, considering a negative role for the nomads; and the second a positive one. Also the present study refers to the issue of ethnicity in the Western societies and their fundamental differences with the issue of nomads in Iran. Finally it mentions some examples of the record of the nomads in Iran and concludes that the second hypothesis is right in this regard. این نوشته در پی آن است که به نقش عشایر در حفظ وحدت ملی و تمامیت ارضی ایران بپردازد. بدین منظور دو فرضیه را مورد برسی قرار داده است: فرضیه‌ای که در این باره برای عشایر نقش منفی قایل شده و دیگری فرضیه‌ای که نقش مثبتِ عشایر را در این خصوص تأییـد می‌کنـد؛ آن‌گاه با اشـاره به بحث اقـوام در جوامع غربی و تفاوت بنیادین آن‌ها با مقوله‌ی عشایر در ایران و ذکر نمونه‌هایی از عملکرد ایلات مختلف عشایـر ایـران، فرضیه‌ی دوم را پاسخ مناسبی بـرای پرسش اصلی مقاله معرفی می‌کند. https://www.rjnsq.ir/article_102245_fcd0c5415f2a233a952803ba820beca3.pdf
