This study deals with the sociology of the relation of national identity and ethnic identity among Kurdish students, focusing on scientific and accurate response to the following questions: A: How much is the rate of the bond of national identity and ethnic identity? B: What is the relationship between national identity and ethnic identity? The findings of this study reveals that Kurdish students show great bond to the all categories of their national identity and ethnic identity; however, they show paucity of bond to the government categories and this arises from the existence of significant inequality which they think the government is responsible for it. It also reveals that in spite of some of the theories, there is no reciprocal relation between national identity and ethnic identity, but it is a direct and consistent relation. It means that people have multiple identities by which they identify themselves in specific situations. In multivariate analysis, the variable of social inequality has a critical importance which specified the highest level of explanation and prediction of the national and ethnic identity. تقویت هویت ملی به منظور وحدت و انسجام جمعی عام و حفظ هویت‌های قومی، با اتخاذ سیاست «وحدت در کثرت» قابل تحقق است. این مقاله به بررسی جامعه‌شناختی رابطه هویت ملی و هویت قومی در بین جوانان کرد پرداخته و سعی کرده است به پرسش‌های زیر پاسخ علمی و دقیق دهد: میزان پای‌بندی به هویت ملی و هویت قومی چقدر است؟ چه رابطه‌ای بین هویت قومی و هویت ملی وجود دارد؟ عوامل مؤثر بر پای‌بندی به هویت ملی وهویت قومی کدامند؟ یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد دانشجویان کرد نسبت به همه مؤلفه‌های هویت ملی و هویت قومی پای‌بندی زیادی دارند، اما نسبت به دولت پای‌بندی کمی نشان می‌دهند. این ناشی از نوعی احساس نابرابری (تبعیض و محرومیت) است که دولت را عامل آن می‌دانند. همچنین، نشان می‌دهد بین هویت ملی و هویت قومی برخلاف برخی نظریه‌ها رابطه معکوس و متضاد وجود ندارد، بلکه رابطه بین آنها مستقیم و سازگار است؛ بدین معنی که افراد دارای هویت‌های چندگانه هستند و در شرایط و موقعیت‌های خاصی خود را با آن می‌شناسانند و شناخته می‌شوند. در تحلیل چندمتغیره، متغیر نابرابری اجتماعی اهمیت خاصی را یافت، به طوری که در تبیین و پیش‌بینی پای‌بندی به هویت ملی و هویت قومی، بالاترین سهم را دارا شد. https://www.rjnsq.ir/article_100276_7e9a8e67197bad8ec246bde2c4cebfb9.pdf
